VEGAN MEATBALLS

Today I Made:
VEGAN MEATBALLS WITH PENNE ARABIATTA, GARLIC BREAD, AND KALE SALAD for DINNER.
Meatball recipe from My Vegan Cookbook.
Brown rice, lentils, oatmeal, whole wheat flour and a plethora of spices.
But best of all, they are TOFU FREE.
All you do is mix the precooked brown rice, lentils and the rest of the ingredients and form into balls, then bake until brown.
Mix with your favorite tomato sauce and pour over pasta.

Looks tasty! I always thought meatballs could be made without any soy. And I love that they're baked too! :-)

I love any recipe that will help us to buy one less meat analog.

Oh, yum! Making your own wholesome "meats" is so much more fulfilling (and delicious) than buying the store-bought fake stuff!

Do the meatballs retain their shape or fall apart??

(I know - I'm full of questions today!!)

They fall apart if you stir them into the pasta too much. I suggest just pouring the tomato sauce over the "meat"balls and pasta.
