CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE

Today I Made:
CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE for DESSERT.
Recipe from JAN/FEB issue of VEGNEWS magazine.
Recipe called for CACAO NIBS, which I've never used before.
The crust was RAW and  made out of the cacao nibs, dates and pecans.
The filling was creamy and pudding-like.

Overall the pie was a success.
Full of chocolate flavor.
And I'm happy that I got to try cacao nibs and the RAW crust.

Hi!
That pie looks like a very serious chocolate bomb! Cocoa nibs are tasty, huh? I'm not sure why, but I don't seem to end up making the VegNews recipes too often. That said, they always look and sound amazing!

Um, I'll take a slice, please. Or two or three. That looks absolutely divine! Why don't I have those ingredients in my pantry right now?!

I just saw cacao nibs at Whole Foods yesterday. Darn, now I wish I had bought them so I could make this pie...

It looks awesome!

I saw this yesterday and went to buy chocolate, and made myself a pie! I haven't eaten it yet, and it doesn't look as good as yours, but it's chocolate pie! who cares!?
